General Surgery

In the Department of General Surgery, services are provided in the light of current medical developments with advanced medical equipment and experienced physicians.

What are the diagnostic methods?

Our General Surgery specialists meet with the patient who applies to our hospital with certain complaints, obtain information about his condition and medical history, and perform a physical examination. After the necessary laboratory and radiological examinations, the diagnosis of the disease is made and the treatment process begins. Endoscopic examinations and interventions are also successfully used for diagnosis and treatment in our General Surgery Department. In our hospital, where the multidisciplinary working system is adopted, the General Surgery specialist works in cooperation with Gastroenterology, Radiology and Interventional Radiology, Pathology, Medical and Radiation Oncology, if necessary, for the planning of the operation and subsequent treatment stages.
